Workshop this weekend

"Amar Gamal, born in Havana, Cuba began bellydancing at the age of 13. She won the double title of Ms. America and Ms. World of the Bellydance 1996, winner of Bellydance Breakbeats Competition 2002, and first runner up in the Ms. Egypt competition in Cairo, Egypt 2004. Amar has been a principal dancer with the Bellydance Superstars and is co founder and member of Bellyqueen. Her elegant and unique style has made her a sought after performer and instructor throughout North America, South America, Europe and Asia."


20th February 2009 (Fri) 7.00 - 10.00pm

Details: Modern Egyptian Choreography
Amar will teach a fun and upbeat choreography. Concentrating on technique ,combinations and letting lose and having some fun!

21st February 2009 (Sat) 1.30 - 4.30pm

Details: Afro-Funk Choreography
A Funky drum solo with elements of african and jazz while still preserving the Arabic flavor.

22nd February 2009 (Sun) 4.00 - 7.00pm

Details: Wings of Isis Technique & Choreography
Amar will teach technique and transitions on dancing with wings. Followed by a dynamic choreography that uses all the movements previously learned.
