Nic Chagall/ Amin Van Buuren

Noticed the ipod touch icon on my side bar???

It took me really a long time to find a suitable site that hosts playlist but finally it's out.  Only two songs (technically it's one song but different version) because I only want to showcase my current favourite song.

I like it so much that I listen to it everytime I am on my ipod, on my pinko or in the car.

Song No.1 : THIS MOMENT by Nic Chagall
Nic Chagall is a trance music producer and DJ.  This is his latest single released last year.  Besides producing music, he tours n plays at the hottest clubs so needless to say, he's on the same league as top DJs like Paul Van Dyk, Amin Van Buuren, etc.

I only have the mp3 of this version and it's what I prefer on most days too - it's not too heavy trance and the beginning is quite soothing in fact.  This 4+ minute track is worth your time to listen to simply because it grows on you.  It may not seem like much the first time but the more times u play and listen to it, the more you find yourself being absorbed into it.

I like to tune in on my way to work and I like it as background music (on really LOW volume) on pinko late at night.  Even though it's a trance piece, strangely there's this induced peace particularly in the wee hours.

Song No.2 : THIS MOMENT remixed by Amin Van Buuren
Ya it's weird that another DJ re-mixes his work but boy, when this other DJ in question is Amin Van Buuren, it's the next ultimate awesome thing.  Like king of trance meets guru of trance - mind shattering!!!

I am no fan of trash music trance and more of a top 40s/ hip hop chick but if you have heard Amin play before, you would be a convert too!  Particularly his club music when partying... so if you ever ever ever have the chance to be at where he is, count your lucky stars & gear up for a night of unforgettable high.

And now for the music itself, I do not have the mp3 of this piece.  It's slightly longer at 7+ minutes but Amin preserved the original Nic Chagall up til 4+ minutes mark (ie where the pause button is on the ipod)...  And that's where it really starts to rock!!!  Close your eyes and imagine the build up he's created (ie the part where the music is between the pause button and the forward button on the ipod)... the closest I can imagine is if you are in velvet.

Aiya, Amin really ROCKS big time lar!!!  Club music at its best; more so if it's at Jarkarta clubs; the crowd's all wild when he comes on.  If you do not savour 'This Moment' as much as I do, I don't blame you but that's cos you hadn't experience what I did.

Big Blue Black!

This is so painful!!! Kneeling on the floor while dancing results in ugly knees.

Mind you, I did wear knee guards under my leggings while dancing; it could have been worse!  Guess I bruise rather easily cos my veins are small.  I know this when the doctor at the operating theatre tried 3 times before he succeeded in locating a possible entry for the tube.,. and then he said:" Ms Go, you have very small veins."

Noticed my blog is all nice nao?? mad angry recently cos of the silly photobucket message.  Luckily DL is a whiz... I knew I asked the right person when he gave me instructions of how to save my template so that he can amend the html file and then blah blah blah.  Thanks ah!!!

Talk about tapping on someone's strength

This sounds totally lazy but I swear it was unintentional.  Was reading Ber's Blog and she wrote about our first encounter earlier this year.  SO instead of me relating the whole incident again, I'll tap on her strength (strength being: able to update entries in a timely and orderly manner)... so there! go read yourself what we did!!!

http://xian-nu.blogspot.com/2010/03/went-temple-to.html

Pay attention to how she described the VISA system there... totally hilarious and factual!!! Plus each of us carry this tray that made us look like prisoners going through the different stations to get our ration for the day.  At least I was smarter, I wore red top (so red chop is ok for me) plus LEOPARD PREENS shorts!!! RARRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!

Check this out!

Look at this and make a guess on how do you use it!

Yes it's a WATCH... and how you read the time is like this:
See the vertical LED lighted up?
The second vertical column (the single green light) means that it's 1.00
The third vertical column (three lights: green red amber - like traffic lights jumbled up) means that it's 0.3
The last column (two lights: amber red) means that it's 0.02

So the time NAO is 1.32p.m...... TA DA!!!!!

Testing testing...

Trying to blog using my mobile... How does it look? It's a bit restrictive because I cannot load photos/ videos; cannot change font size/ type/ colour too. My default is Comic Sans MS but I prefer Verdana these days. Oh, guess I should prolly go change the settings ya.

Ok, enough of complaining about the limitations of mobile blogging, It doesn't seem like a good topic considering this is my first attempt at it eh? Change TOPIC!!!

Ok hmm, I have a question; a medical one. My recent blood pressure reading is 94/ 57.. That's not normal right? I know normal readings should be 110/ 80 (or is it 90?). Is there any way to rectify? The nurse was startled so she took a few more times but still the same range of low readings. Then she said could be because I hadn't ate lunch but I DID wor. In fact, I ate so much that I felt too full n sleepy. Anyway, nothing much I can do nao.. So if you know of any means to correct such low readings, SMS me hor.

Nao, there's one more constraint to point out before I log off: there's no 'saving' function! So must type everything at one go... If I listen to phonecall halfway through blogging, the whole post is gone!!! And have to start over again. So yea, this is my 2nd attempt. The 1st was uncompleted!!!

To answer Luxlass's question...

...Yes, in the end, I managed to get my ass to the new restaurant in Pagoh for my cousin's wedding in Dec. It's quite a huge venue with many tables and many friends and many relatives.

So I was seated at this table...Naturally. With red wine served in normal soft-drink glasses instead of proper wine glasses.

The usual drill applied... ie the endless waiting before any serious eating began. So I grabbed Wanxuan to play with me. She was dressed to the nines in a cute little pink frock and her bums puffed up from the thick diapers. Her hair clips are pink too. (Low res pic courtesy of my bro's new BB phone... BB sucks compared to iphones)

Even her shoes are so cute!!! Matching pink frilly socks with deep red mary jane shoes.

A photo with the bride (& her parents) and my 2nd auntie and uncle. I think my cousin(the bride) is 8 or 9 years younger than me.

I left before the dinner ended because I have dancing the next day remember??? It was not easy to drive back...
WHY?
because I had no car to follow (earlier, on my way there, I just had to follow my cousin's car to the restaurant) and I had to try and find my way from the restaurant to the north south highway. The 'mountain' road at night is seriously mind-boggling. It's pitch black and just a narrow 2-lane thing with no street lights. Yes, you are right, one lane to and the opposite lane fro.

I flick my high beam on and off to try to see the road in front... I can't see clearly if the road is curved or straight. Plus I was so pressured because behind me, a row of cars were tail-gating me. And I was already driving at 80-90km/hr (fast by small mountain road standard). Apparently, because I was unfamiliar with the road, I was road-hogging... PAH!

But they were nice, they didn't honked at me, they merely overtook me if the opposite lane has no oncoming cars.
What was a 25min ride by day took me almost 40minutes by night.

So when I finally swerved my car onto the north south highway... I was so so relieved!!! The mountain road made driving on the highway chicken feet in comparison. I didn't realise I was so tensed during the 40min mountain road drive until I felt my lower calves relaxing on the highway.

NO MORE NIGHT DRIVING IN SUA TENG ROAD NEXT TIME!!!!!!
